Made one finger head, beer of golden color. Medium body and low carbonation.
Sweet aroma from malt and a faint smell of herbal hops. The taste follows the nose, very malty, adding a nice rounded bitterness to it. Good drinkability, a beer for malt lovers.

The city of Blumenau in Santa Catarina state (Brazil) holds a very large Oktoberfest celebration. By some accounts, it is the 2nd largest in the world. It´s appropraite that Blumenau´s most symbolic brewery makes an Oktoberfest style beer. From a 355 ml twist-off, on to the beer:
Light orange colored, the beer shows off a good looking foamy head and its retention is quite good as well. The sweet malts and grassy aroma that blends with the malt are on par with the usual oktoberfest beer.
This Oktoberfest is on the shallower side for the style. It still tastes like a fine Oktoberfest, though I´ll admit I´m a sucker for VERY malty ones. Grassy, wood, and sweet malts make up the flavor for this one. It´s medium bodied with light carbonation.
It´s surprising that with the explosion of the Brazilian microbrewery scene, this is the only Oktoberfest style brewed in Brazil. As one could expect from Eisenbahn, it´s a spot on attempt of the style.
