I am told they only serve this beer on-tap and in one litter cans. I have given myself the challenge to see if I can polish off my one litter can. Looking at the label, I am not too hopeful. First it is one of the styles produced by knock-off regional craft brewers who do not brew for taste but for sovenier value. Second, I notice the alcohol level is a true to dictionary style 5.0%. Another boring brew.
Very little head, on a cola colored brew.
Strong breadcrust aroma with hints of caramel.
Very nice and out of character toffee flavor upfront. Interesting resin-y bitterness all the way through.
Active cola like carbonation.
This is good for a ji-beer. Compared to a Rogue, Anchor or other US rising star however, this is colored fizzy water.
