Diacetyl dominates. Very much ruins this beer. Sad.

On tap at Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a hazy gold with a foamy white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, wheat, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and slight herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice hop forward presence for the style.
