This is a crazy beer that has a unique umami and Sriracha-Michelada almost "chicken soup" savory character. But, it is absolutely what it purports to be.
There is only the original according to the brewery - there is no "spicy" version. Angel City only made one version.

Batch # 159. Bottled 7/15/15. Best enjoyed by 11/30/15.
Pours a hazy dark honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of tomato juice, chili pepper juice, worcestershire sauce, and sriracha aromas. Taste is much the same with tomato juice, sriracha, chili pepper juice, and worcestershire sauce on the finish. There is a mild amount of chile heat on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a great smell and tasty flavors for the michelada style, but is still quite spicy for being just the original version of this beer.
Serving type: bottle.

Amber hue with a short-lasting head. Looks like someone squirted some sriracha in to the beer and mixed it up. Hazy and looks homemade.
Garlic-heavy bloody mary/chelada. Definite sriracha and vinegar from the banana peppers. Tomato and clam, maybe a dash of the worcestershire.
Sweet lager backed by tomato juice followed by vinegar and garlic. Lingering mild chili spice (I like hot food. If you don't enjoy spice, I wouldn't suggest the spicy version).
The feel is of a snappy lager with a mild burning sensation once swallowed. This seriously tastes like a chelada/bloody mary.
I have tasted the Budweiser chelada and did enjoy it. With that beer however, I couldn't do more than one without it being too much. This one on the other hand, I feel like I could drink all day. Big garlic hit (I love sriracha) with a mild burning finish, a crisp taste, and an alcohol content modest enough to enjoy during the daytime hours. I'm honestly impressed.
(Also note that I'm rating to style and my previous impressions. I have been let down by Chile beers and chelada style beers before, so my rating is probably inflated due to my bias)
