On tap at Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange-brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, rye, and candied fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, dark fruit, caramel, and slight rye flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is solid on its own without any barrel aging.
Serving type: on tap.
