Pinot Fresa is a California-inspired golden sour ale, brewed with ripe strawberries of Monterrey County, then aged in Pinot Noir barrels for six months. A secondary fermentation of wild yeast and lactobacillus gives this beer a bright and tart fruit flavor, with a touch of sour.

Described as a golden sour ale with strawberries, this fruited sour is aged in pinot wine barrels. Overall, a good beer. Nice and light. The sweet tartness of the beer is complimented well by the aging process in wine barrels. The wine adds a subtle richness and acidity that tones down the fruit a little. Affordable in a 22oz direct rom the brewery. Good stuff.
