(From notes- share from a kind RB)
A - Orangey, yellow color with a thinner white head. Kinda bright and odd looking
S - Pure banana bread; sweet; and a hint of gasoline
T - Fusel alcohol; sweet; bready; really terrible stuff here even for malt liquor
M - Thicker extraordinarily fizzy carbonation
D - Just terrible. Really, really bad
Between the jet fuel characteristics and banana bread, I don't really know what the hell this really was. However, it's pretty awful.

Wow, what a wait. The suspense is killing me, here goes. Pours a dark amber body, darker than the Red?? Head is white , short lived and foamy. Aromas are corn, sour apple, slight alcohol. But no chamicals. A first from this brewery! Taste is an immediate sour taste, followed by a sweet corny alcoholic taste with some grainy flavours. A slight burn accompanies. Finish is actually pretty smooth. Aftertaste is better than Tango. Suprisingly their 8% malt liquor is better, and less offensive than their 5.5% Tango.

I really don't want to give a beer all ones but I cant find anything enjoyable about this one. This is thankfully the last Steelback beer that found its way to my place (great friends I have). This pours with a fluffy head that dies quicker than the Leafs playoffs hopes. No lacing whatsoever. Has a clear copper color.
Smells and tastes of alcohol, corn, metal and a crappy sweetness. Nothing good to say about this beer so I will end it with that.

First of the seven Steelback tubs I picked up this afternoon.
This poured from the tub can into my large pilsener glass a rather attractive dark red, but the head died quick, and left nothing. Smell is reminiscent of brown sugar and corn syrup. Flavors in this tub start off as brown sugar and alcohol, going down like bad pancake syrup. Hardly Drinkable.
If this is any indication of what the other Six are going to be like I should just take the rest back.

The 3rd Steelback Tub-O-swill from the fishing excursion cooler. This one was another typical Steelback sink-pour except I threw it in the grass because I didnt want to damage any aquatic life in the river.
This one tastes like another high gravity fermented corn dextrose beverage which does not deserve a serious look by real beer drinkers... Commonly refered to as "blue chunder" by local wags and for good reason.
...probably the cheapest park bench stone in Canada....choice of decerning GTA rubbies because a large can is good for a quick buzz and fits in a paper bag just perfectly so the OPP cops wont roust you in your urban camp out.
3 of these and you start hearing the voices...unfortunately they come from EMS workers who are trying to pump your stomach and get your heart started again.

One of the better Steelback products but still below average.
The colour is a very nice golden yellow with a very thin head followed by nothing...foam just disappears leaving a lightly carbonated apple juice.
The nose is a little like cooked corn.
The taste is a raw malty grain flavour with a serious kick of alcohol.
The body is medium.
