I have had good amber lagers, and not so good amber lagers. This fits somewhere on the lower end of in-between. Strawberry-blonde in color with a thin cloudy lace wafting a very light malt aroma. The initial taste of dry slightly toasted malt is unimpressive. A mild hope presence lends little bitterness. The body is nice and smooth, but overall not a flavorful beer
