This beer is a Sticke, a strong version of an altbier. An italian version, of course. With local malt.
Brown in color, with ruby edges. Bright and beautiful. Even the foam, compact, light beige, is very beautiful.
Good malty smell, intense, full. Light touches of caramel, with aromatic notes. Very interesting.
Full taste, too. Full, but not cloying. Good.
Light notes of unripe nut.
Average body, round, rich.
A sweet start in the aftertaste, but quickly followed by a good and long bitterness, root-like. Almost rhubarb, sometimes.
Very good beer, well balanced.
