I had a sampler platter at Moonshine during lunch and was not impressed with the Chronic. It was the worst offer of the six that I tried; however still drinkable...but against its peers....not the best APA I have ever had. The Color was a clear copper orange with thin white head that left a lacing. The smell was basically nothing. There was slight malt and weak hop...but nothing to rave about. The taste was basic...and bland much like the smell. Mouthfeel was light in bodywith good carbonation. Overall it was drinkable but not my favorite.

A very plain beer. It was a dull amber color, with a slight orange highlight. Foam receded after a minute or two, leaving a broken skim with spotty lacing at the edges of the glass. Malt sweetness in the nose, again it reminded me of Fat Tire with a hint of musky yeast. Slight bitterness in the body, all malt flavor, with a trace of nuttiness, possibly from the hemp seed used. Low carbonation, fairly thin, resembling several other house beers here. This was very pedestrian, easy enough to drink, geared towards being inoffensive, but ultimately not delivering much satisfaction to this beer drinker.
