Had on tap. Golden body with a finger of white foam, blobs of lacing. Smell and taste are the same: phenolic lemon, southern biscuit, orange, honey malt and floral hops in that order of potency. Feel is light and maltier for the style, but smooth and clean, but want more from the yeast

Poured from 22 oz. bottle into tulip glass; surprised by very thin head dissipating almost immediately, but overall color was a "burnished" golden. Bright citrus and slightly floral aromas, and noticeable yeast influence (brewer identifies "Bastogne Gold" yeast from Belgium). Very pleasant to the taste, with a somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Even with a 7% ABV, not a heavy ale, but very good accompaniment to almost any lighter fare or summer meals.

Bottled on April 10th 2014.Pours into a large tuilp glass a hazed murky honey tinged golden with a thinner than expected white head that was gone pretty quickly.Aromas are yeasty with mild phenols and ripe citrus fruits, light leafy hops are dtected as well.Lightly spiced on the palate with herbal hops standing out,a little stickiness in the finish. Not bad and the flavors are subtle, not bad for drinking while outdoor grilling although the alcohol does creep a little.
