Pours honey yellow with active head. Smell some oak, grain, bit of funk and white grape. Tart front fades to bit of hop and malt. Not much oak comes through until the finish. Light feel and very carbonated. Effervescent for sure. Pisgah brands this a sour on their website, if not in the name of the beer, so the whole pale ale classification is quetionable. If that's what you're after, you won't get it here. Otherwise, it's very refreshing and extremely drinkable.

Interesting. This tastes more like a sour than a Pale Ale, but I love sours, so I really dig it. Not a lot of oakiness, but its got a hint of it...very smooth and highly carbonated...not sure how this is a Pale Ale...but dammit its perfect for a warm Florida night. If you like sours, you'll love this beer.

It was a little harsh in my opinion, but with time that will probably age itself out.
