Brite Sky Blood Orange IPA is an ode to the orange glow that lights up our beautiful mountains with the setting sun. A flood of Blood Orange brings a bright citrus character to this juicy, hoppy IPA built on Mandarina Bavaria, El Dorado and Centennial hops.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($2.09).
Appearance. Clear golden body with visible carbonation. It has a decent white head.
The aroma features citrus notes from the hops accompanied by pine, alcohol esters and bready malts. The flavor is more grassy.
Mouthfeel. Medium body and carbonation.

Picked up a 12 oz single as part of a mixed sixer from Ingles Spartanburg store cooler 5-18-2021 for $10.98. Canned 3-23-21; consumed 6-12-21.

Beer poured a chilled haze golden orange with a beautiful white head that has some great hang time.

Nose has some orange fruitiness to it along with the base malt.

Taste is a bready malt base that combines nicely with the citrus hop and orange adjunct. Finishes with a very strong rind bite; 8/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty refreshing.

Overall I generally am not a fan of this style due to the excessive rind bitterness I find in most in this offshoot style but I really like the breadiness of the malts. I am liking PBC more and more!

12 oz. can dated 4/2/20 - nice head emits fresh orangey, hoppy, malt aromas
Almost clear, yet the swirls faintly seem to cloud the golden body, nevertheless -
It tastes great! Smooth malt body supports the orange and hops perfectly.
Easily 4.25 across the board, maybe more. Not super hoppy, it drinks like a friendly pale ale.
Buy it when you see it.
