Nice light amber. Big white head with substantial lacings throughout. Good looking pint of ale.
Interesting aroma to these Galena hops. Straddles pine and citrus pretty well, kind of difficult to place them in a specific catoegory of aroma or bitterness.
Despite the American IPA designation (from the brewery), I get characteristic English malt, leaning towards fruity. Hops give moderate bitterness throughout with a nice subtle finish.
I enjoy these single hop brews, and this was the first time I've been knowingly exposed to Galena. An nice middle-of-the-road variety.
