Hand pulled pint in the excellent 'Crown Inn' Oakengates, Shropshire.
The pint glass looked good, a deep, rich golden body not lager gold, this was fuller and depth. On top sat a full white head that later gave some heavy lacing as I downed the beer.
Saaz hops gave it a citrusy nose, but didn't infect the taste to much (I don't like a beer to be too citrusy in the mouth), they did however give the beer a bitter finish compared to the more floral feel the brew implied initially.
Thought it was going to be better than it was to be honest, looked fine but failed to excite or ignite my tastebuds.
