Copenhagen 8/4 2023- 33 cl bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. NV. Rough drawing of a Wolf en face on the label. In green of course.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - pale yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of fluffy foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and slightly sugary odor mingling with a yeasty, musty scent. Light citric notes. Sweet pale malts, sugar, syrup and alcohol. Musty, damp cellar and a bit of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Solid Tripel with a decent bitter bite.

This beer has left me a double sensation. When I savored it and smelled, the first moment, I was pleasantly surprised. But the beer evolves very little, loses the qualities that were intuited. A missed opportunity?

Hazy honey. Creamy, dense foam & great lacing. Lemons and flowers in aroma.
Medium high bitterness mostly yeast but also a bit of hops & some sweet grainy malty flavor.
Medium body, high carbonation
Dry long, lasting finish.

Hazy pale yellow color with off-white head. Aroma has some alcohol and damp grains. Taste is bitter and grainy with some astringent finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Overall it's ok but the regular was better.
