Appearance - Near black in colouration this beer boasts a big head that is rocky and beige in colour.
Smell - Slightly sour aroma at first there is a very strong smokey burnt aroma up next with hugely malty qualities and slightly earthy hop in the back end.
Taste - Burnt and bitter with a chocolaty element that is very smooth and well balanced between its strong bitter punch and a slightly sweet follow through. There is a earthy wholesome hop presence in the back of the mouth making this a well balanced and tasty brew.
Mouth feel - Full bodied with a creamy feel. Excellent linger and a nice light drying feel in the end.
Overall - I can describe this beer in two words. TOP NOTCH. If you come across this make sure you try it out.
