Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of berry and cereal is pretty enticing. Taste is also a nice mix of berry with light residual sugar notes with light berry notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Pretty nice mix of cowberry a with an amber ale.

500ML bottle split with my wife. Looking over Lake Como for one more night.
Golden, like just about every other beer in Italy we've found to date. Smells sugary.
Piemontese is virtually indistinguishable from it's brother Sicilian. Vaguely fruity but mostly just a jolt of sugar with a bit of caramel, background graininess...is that pineapple? I don't think we'll ever know. Might be a touch better up the scale. Boring, but drinkable.

500ml brown glass bottle courtesy of Ermal in Torino, Italy - thanks, man! Brief impressions below:
5.50% ABV.
No head at all. No lacing. Clear honey copper colour. Clean, lacking visible yeast or lees.
Aroma is cranberry - a bit artificial, sure. Generic malt sweetness as well.
Taste is of cranberries, malty sweetness, and...that's about it. Simple and shallow, but pleasant and approachable all the same. Balanced enough for its simple aims.
Smooth, wet, refreshing, light to medium-bodied, well-carbonated.
It's a simple fruit beer good for pairing with food. Not a unique or special beer per se, but it's inoffensive and pleasant. I'd buy it again for casual drinking. Reasonably priced (especially by Italian standards).

Birra Moretti Alla Piemontese. 500 ml bottle swerved in a glass, the beer is dark Amber with a slight chill haze. It has a beige head.
It has a nose of ripe apple, berries and grains.
It's a balanced offering. Slightly sweet, a touch grainy with some spice and fruit in the finish.
The mouth is medium, with low carbonation.
Nothing off or offensive, fresh and clean but not a ton of taste that grabs your buds.

This one is not bad actually.. is made with rice and blueberrys, both coming from Piedmont.
It's possible to feel both of them in smell and taste, fruityness is actually high.
It's quite normal as a beer, but a bit different from all other populars.
