Bought this from my local off licence. At first glance thought it was Irish due to the greens and orange used as well as the almost Celtic like font used on a lot of the bottle. Turns out it is actually Italian, the website claims it is a recreation from the residue of an ale dating back to the 7th century B.C. This may be true but a lot of things including beer often change for the better.
Yellow head, cloudy reddish brown body.
Aromas are corn and bread not much else.
Taste quite like a sugary barley based squash, almost unpleasant.
Mouth feel thin and fizzy just accentuates some of the unpleasant flavours within.
Is a lot like the Alco pops that Jeremiah weed have out in the UK at the moment. On ice in a jam jar could be the next best thing, but as a serious beer, probably should have left this uncovered.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
