Copenhagen 24/4 2020. 66 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Birra Morena's usual design with golden corn Ears and their cheesy tagline Passione Italiana.
Pours clear yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Settles as thin patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, malty sweet with a bit of grassy, sourish odor peeking in. Sweet pale malts, cardboard, grains. Grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish but with an bitter undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Rather generic pale lager. A bit too sweet and watery.

11.2 fl. oz. bottle
Served in a pilsner glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden hue and is topped with an inch of off-white head that leaves no lacing.
Bready and grainy aroma. Hints of barnyard grass.
It starts out a little sweet and has some bread notes. It is earthy and minerally in the middle with mild lemongrass in the finish.
Light bodied with a slick mouthfeel
I'm surprised it is not skunky smelling and tasting, so there's that.

11.2oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of bread crust, grains and grasses. Sweet caramel, toffee and an odd bitterness.

4 bottles of this beer came in my monthly beer package. thanks to Claudia and Kevin for the gift. Best before April 20, 2017 and comes in a green bottle. Served at cellar tenperature into a pint glass.
Appearance - Clear, pale, golden color with finger and a half of fluffy white head. Good retention and some swaths of lacing left around the edges of the glass.
Smell - Stale dried grain mostly, trace metallicness. Wouldn't shock me if this bottle is skunked.
Taste - Advertised as pilsner, and actually delivers a slight hop presence initially. Sweeter than many in the style has be leaning towards reclassifying this as a Euro pale Lager.
Mouthfeel -Very smooth and easy to drink carbonation on the low side. Not super dry finish, but dry enough with decent body.
Overall - Forgettable, but at least it's easy drinking and better than a bunch of the Euro Pale Lagers/Pilsners out there in the marketplace. Would be very interested in a canned sample so the light would have less of an opportunity to afflict this beer. Still worth a shot and matches up with many other Italian macro beers on the market.
