Pretty basic, not too interesting, tastes lagery more than anything. Refreshing though. Don't look for complexity here.

Roubd one of the sampler at San Pedro Brewing. On to the beer:
A paler yellow looking beer, maybe it could be considered blonde. There's good lace given out that sticks round the glass. And it smells like....a little sweet. An adjuncty-like sweetness, and some cream. The flavor profile is light and slightly sweet. That light cream note from the aroma finds its way to the taste. Light bodied and crisp, which is nice, but overall, the beer is merely okay.

Pours a transparent straw yellow color. Slight foamy head dissipate quickly almost immediately. No lacing.
Not much smell. A little hops, hint of citrus, maybe some bread.
The taste is hoppy and slight citrus. Crisp, fresh with no bitter after taste. Perhaps a hint of metallic in the middle.
Mouthfeel is good. Clean and crisp, with a dry finish.
Certainly a good beer, very sessionable.

I had this at a function at UCLA, assuming it is the same stuff I had. It was pretty good. I would definitely have it again if I were to ever encounter it. It was quite some time ago though so I don't have anything else to really report on it. Give it a shot if you ever see it.

On draft at brewery, consumed 01/21/08.
Clear golden with active carbonation. Nice head.
No aroma from taster glass.
Corn flavor. Perhaps served too cold for any other flavors to come out? After beer warmed, no additional changes to flavor.
Unremarkable mouthfeel.
Still, if I had to choose between this and a Bud, I'd go with the Bruin Blonde.
