Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a dark burnt orange color with some sly yellow hues along the sides of the beer. Nicely paced dissipating head. Sly quaint speckled lace. The aroma had sharp citrus bitter rind encasing some sweet wheat and then a subtle pine. The flavor brings together the previously mentioned aromas to a full bittersweet appeal. Sly citrusy bitter hoppy aftertaste with the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Smooth crisp sweet citrus and pieny hops show a low key bitterness. Nice level of carbonation. Overall, nice APWA that would be great in the Summer, and a decent food beer for now.

The beer comes in a clear light amber color.
The beer offers a bready sweetness with lots of grassy hop flavor. The beer is on the sweeter side while still being light and drinkable.
