A: cloudy; medium gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a very thin cap; OK lacing;
S: pineapple with grapefruit, orange, and lemon;
T: not much flavor; what's there is pineapple with a hint of orange in the background; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

From a 16 oz. can sampled on Aug 29, 2021.
The appearance is a slightly hazy golden-yellow underneath a lasting white head.
The aroma brings out citrus and pine for the most part with a lower breaded presence.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet with a big pine and citrus juiciness leading to the end. Clean.

16 oz can.
Pours a hazy burnt orange color with 2 fingers of soapy white head. Excellent retention on the head. Leaves some sticky cobwebs of lacing around the glass.
The aroma is quite citrusy. Lots of grapefruit and orange with a bit of lemon. Sweet bready malt character in the back. Straightforward but not bad.
The flavor follows the nose: Grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, sweet biscuity malt with an earthy, piney finish.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy with a nice sharp bite on the finish.
Overall, this is a pretty good NEIPA. It's pretty standard for the style, but it's still tasty and well-balanced. Definitely worth a try.

A clean IPA with some hoppy bitterness which has a great crisp taste and a nice finish. Perfect for a pairing with some wings or spicy French fries. Enjoy!

Bottom of the can stamped 09/26/19.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy burnt yet bright yellow/orange color. Slight foamy cap of a white head dissolved fairly quick. Mellow concave lace.
The aroma had some grapefruit juice, "iced" orange peel, fresh airy laundry biscuity malts and some lemon pulp further on the back end.
The flavor took all of the prior mentioned aromas to mesh with a slight dry piney character. Aftertaste lingers with some dry powdery airy grapefruit pith and orange peel.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low key carbonation as expected with some dryness and stickiness. Slight finish of dry powdery hops - somewhat piney but allowing a certain grapefruity pith to balance.
Overall, I really liked this one, glad to see Big Tree is back at it again!

Hazy yellow body with a white head. Smell is pretty hoppy with typical tropical fruit and accenting lemon. Taste is weighed down by the yeasty complexion, muddles the hop fruit but the hop bitters carry. Would like it to be more juicy, instead it leans into basic hop textures and airiness on the finish especially.
