Drinking out of a large snifter.
Pours a somewhat hazy orange with a full frothy head.
Smells of tropical fruit.
Full mouth feel.
Fruity taste - mainly oranges.
Not bad, but a little weak.

my first from these guys and its wonderful, my wife adored it, and i reckon its the best ipa we had on our vermont trip, even with some way bigger heavy hitting names on our list, this was a standout, incredibly well done, and it makes me curious to try more from these guys, not sure i had heard of them before we found this on tap. a truly inspired hazy, distinctive in every aspect from its flush fuller yet dry grain base creaming up the feel to the ferment, which is not neutral, complimentary to the hops, and even somewhat curious, perhaps some new school juice strain, but most importantly its unique on the hop side, with big notes of ripe cantaloupe, lemon balm, and key lime, with a pine and weed aspect too, the flavor as pungent, forward, and memorable as the aroma, this is peak fresh, without green vegetal bite at all, and not zero bitterness, which i prefer in my hazy, and despite this being hop heavy and oily and with a lot of starch and protein from the grain, its also pretty quick and clean finishing overall. i just love how vibrant and fruity the hops are, and how it remains in balance despite the intensity. it ends up being a drinkable and repeatable pint, in part because its so intriguing and distinctive, in part because it tastes like ripe melon and i love that. looking forward to my next pour of this already, and to my next beer from big tree, really impressive overall here!

A nice pour, 1 finger head that quickly dissipated. Quite hazy, near cloudy.

From the can opening the fragrant aromas of pineapple and grapefruit were present.

The taste followed the nose very closely. A generous mouthful of pineapple and grapefruit. The bitterness seemed to rise from the tart fruit flavors as opposed to pine/resin.

The feel was OK, but found the taste went away quickly for such a beer.

Exactly how I feel a hazy beer should be, just needs more of it.
