Growler filled at the brewpub yesterday.

First imperial pint pours with a 1/2" bright white head, with reasonable retention and lacing. Brew is clear light gold, with a moderate blueberry aroma. Taste is sweet pale malts upfront, with blueberry flavor working with, not stomping over, the overall experience. Mouthfeel is smooth, and drinkability is quite good for a fruit beer. High thirst-quenching ability, and me who doesn't really go for fruit beers. Go figure.

White head on some watery lager with extract, better without the blueberries thrown in for effect to impress chicks. Some blue tinge to this light colour. No head, no real taste, A minimal beer, for an expansive lineup. Avoid. Note to self: follow own advice.

This was my first beer at Opa yesterday. An interesting beer. Very little head retention, but good lacing like the other Opa beers I have tasted. Not sure what the base is, but was a bit hoppy, although the fruit masks this alot. Unlike many fruit beers I have tried, this one is quite subtle on the pallatte, with a strong blueberry finish, but not too much; hard to describe. Seems to be below 5% ABV, but not sure. A very clean beer that I'm sure is best in the warmer months. The only gripe is VERY carbonated which takes abit away from the mouthfeel. All in all, a good beer.
