Cloudy pale red colored pour with a minimal head. Nice floral aroma. Taste is hop forward with pine and floral flavors backed by a bit of bready and sweet malt. Can also taste some citrus and a bit of alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Finishes with a strong bitter taste that has pine and citrus flavors.

Appearance: Hazy yellow amber glass holds a thin halo of white foam. Shows some legs, but slides off the glass pretty willingly.
Aroma: Grapefruit driven hops are perfumed by the alcohol vapors and sweet candy base. Hops are a bit leafy and earthy as well.
Taste: Sweet base goes hot with alcohol. Hops play more of a supporting role. A Hawaiian Punch kind of profile, very fruity and a bit tart.
Mouthfeel: Hot, chewy, medium heavy body, fairly clean finish but a bit of oils.
Overall: Very enjoyable, I've been slowing working through the 4 pack. Cheers to Independence.
