$3.49 for a 16 fl oz can at a Total Wine & More:
100 IBU.
HOPS Summit, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra
MALTS Two Row, Best Pale, Crystal, Flaked Barley
YEAST American Ale (Chico)
"Double Dry Hopped."
Warm. Hop profile is wanting - a bit tropical, a bit floral, but very restrained in terms of depth of flavour and hop pungency. Pale malt sweetness gives it generic balance.
Rather restrained subdued work considering the intended style. Rather insipid for an ostensible imperial IPA.
Coating and full-bodied on the palate. Unrefreshing. Smooth. Wet.
D+ (2.32) / NOT RECOMMENDED
