Happy to find this canned six today, a salute to the late great Paul Ray's famed R&B radio show on KUT Austin. I still have cassette recordings of some of his 1980s shows. The beer is a worthy tribute, nice hazy ale, with a beautiful white head and lacing. 5% abv is nice too, easy going like the show. Even the guitar playing armadillo on the label, a la Jim Franklin, is a cool nod to the weird old Austin of Ray's era. Search 'Remembering Texas Radio Hall-of-Famer and 'Twine Time' Host Paul Ray' for a fine memorial. Onward thru the fog!

From a can dated 6/1/23. Cloudy amber color with an inch of white foamy head. Smells of grapefruit. Medium body with some stickiness. Light malt with some grapefruit and piney notes. Somewhere on the border between a pale ale and IPA. Very drinkable.
