A: Light brown in color. thin head. Carbonation was a bit low. a bit of lace that lingered.
S: Sweetness in the smell, toffee/caramel is there as well. Very nice malty note.
T: Malts really stick out here. very smooth and rich. toffee sticks out again. Fairly sweet.
M/O: Very smooth, a bit of creaminess. Very silky mouthfeel, was nice. Carbonation could have been higher. (I had it on tap once and it was about the same, so it was not just my growler)

On tap at the Anvil in Houston.
A: Pours a dark ruby brown color. A two finger beige head forms with good retention. Some light lace is left behind.
S: Some toasted malt and some sweetness in the nose. Chocolate and toffee.
T: Follow the nose with a nice toasted malt flavor. Milk chocolate and toffee flavors. Some wood and even a bit of smoke. Very nice.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Very smooth and creamy. Easy to drink. I put back several without a thought.
This is a very nice Scotch Ale. I really enjoyed this, and something I would recommend. It is not in the top tier of the style, but very enjoyable non the less. One of the best I have had from the brewery.
