Served in a standard pint glass at Red's Porch in Austin.
Appearance: golden straw, opaque, modest head with average retention.
Smell: apricot, butter, floral hops
Taste: hop bitterness, followed by apricot and other fruit, butter, and a touch of hops on the end.
Mouthfeel: creamy with average carbonation.
Great, unique offering that is a fantastic addition to both Texas and craft beer overall.

On cask at the Anvil in Houston.
A: Pours a bright and vibrant golden/orange color. Slightly hazy. A two finger white head forms with excellent retention. Lots of lace is left behind.
S: An odd musky aroma up front. Though that quickly fades to a big hoppy aroma. Passion fruits, pineapple, mango.
T: A very unique hop flavor that I love. Awesome Sorachi Ace hops. Juicy passion fruits of pineapple, mango, orange. Just enough bitterness that never becomes over barring. Some biscuit and bread malts for balance. Excellent.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Crisp and very dry. So easy to drink. Something I can quaff several off without a problem.
I have no idea what style this should be. A hoppy American Blond Ale is the best I can come up with. Well done Independence and keep it up. The best I have had from the brewery without a doubt.
