Imperial Wheat Flavored with orange peel and coriander. This beer has a big bodied sweetness that makes it super easy drinking.

Clear, amber body, apricot in hue; lively carbonation; thick and fluffy head, white and lasting. Light note of toasted wheat and a trace of apricot. Heavy sweetness to the taste; grain-like and boozy. Heavy body with a big residual sugar presence; sticky.

The bottle label notch indicated the beer was bottled in June (no year, but 2020 is a fair guess). For an imperial ale, this one isn't too bad. There is some initial heavy booziness to the taste but that dissipates a bit as the beer opens up. It does lean towards the sweet side, especially with the mouthfeel, but drinking it a bit cooler than I usually enjoy my beers would probably temper that aspect. Overall, a fine beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with fluffy white head. Body is full and smooth. Taste and aroma is of wheat malt, ripe fruit and spices. Finish is long and spicy. Good brew.

Well that is fucking delightful. Should never be served when an orange because it packs enough citrusy zest on its own! Really creamy and finishes with a biscuity malt. If this is for jesters then let's fool around.

Poured golden hazy into a generic tulip which resulted in a two finger white head of tightly packed bubbles which quickly dissipated with little to no lacing.

On the nose, a bit of what one would expect with a wit - citrus, spice and everything nice -

On the mouth, carbonation! subtle wit characteristics and not much as far as feel and spice, but alcohol (8%) is not present...mouth feel is consistent up front, middle and back with absolutely no alcohol warming, which is an unexpected surprise...

Overall, this could be my new "lawnmower beer," thirst quenching, refreshing and much too easy to drink and drink fast.

Thanks for reading...

Was excited to see a single of this brew available. I love Middle Ages

A- good orange copper hue with whit lacing on the edges. Very hazy and bold which is quite unique for a Middle Ages brew

S- prominent orange scent with some pine and presence of alcohol. Inviting nonrtheless

T- impressed. Good taste of orange and wheat flow together for a pleasing taste profile. While there isn't an overwhelming yeast taste, there is still a familiarity for a Middle Ages brew.

M- creamy and carbonated. Good flavor

O- what a great brew from MA. Reminds me of double wit which was without a doubt the best brew I have ever had from them. I need this to be an everyday offering and I'll seek out more!

i love middle ages, always stoked to see one of their beers i havent had. this is fashioned as a double wit, but its way different than their swallow wit in every way. hazy sure, but more orange in color, and a little less lively from the tap, just a short thin white head that goes away quickly. smells great though, hay and straw and farm and wheat, not funky but rustic for sure, less intense on the yeast, not even all that belgian, just a mild fruitiness there, its totally grain driven. love the toast and slight caramel to the grain, it is deep and layered and very hearty. if there is coriander in here, its faint. the only herbal quality i pick up out of it is from the yeast, and then the leafy grassy hops, which are of mild varietal but dosed robustly, something id like to see more of in general. i wish for more carbonation in it, seems to drop out quick and it lags after that, but its smooth and big feeling on the way down. tasty beer, and with a few tweaks and clean ups could be one of the best from middle ages. on tap at their spot in the syracuse airport. heck of a way to get buzzed up before a cross country haul...

Rather clear so not mit heffe. Higher alcohol appears to keep head down. Wheaty orange nose. Solid wheat flavor without being overly bready. Obviously not made with trad. Weihenstephen yeast so no banana or clove here. Nice semi sweet orangy finsh.
I like!
