On tap at Dinosaur BBQ in Troy, NY.
This one pours a kind of dirty looking dark orange color, mostly clear, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells vegetal, astringent and soapy, with light hop character and malt galore.
This is just bad. I don't really know what I was expecting, given that it's Middle Ages and IPAs are never going to be their strong suit. It's just riddled with flaws- it's syrupy, it's soapy, it's too bitter, it's too malty- what more can I say?
This is medium bodied, and not drinkable, with a very low level of drinkability.
This is just bad news all around. One of the worst beers I've had in a bit now.
