Can given by a friend. It (the can, not my friend) was dated 12/29/2018. I tasted it out of a Tree House Brewing Co. Craft Master Glass.
L: Cloudy NEIPA, exactly how the style should look. I didn't give it a "5" only because that's perfection. However, this was pretty close to how a hazy NEIPA should look
S: Tropical fruit... more specifically, pineapple and kiwi. There's a hint of ammonia (Citra hops does have an ammonia/cat-pissy smell sometimes). It didn't have the depth of some NEIPAs I've had, but it smelled like it should.
T: It was good; however, it seemed to lack depth. This tasted like it was a single hop beer. This isn't a bad thing, but it lacked the depth and a lingering flavor that a lot of NEIPAs have. As the flavor dissipated, it became a little tart/sour. At first sip, it tasted like an IPA should.
F: Thick and juicy. Given how thick it was, I was hoping for a flavor profile that had a lot of depth and lingered.
O: A decent NEIPA. I'd buy a can or two if it was available.
