On Cask at Mahar's
A: Deep amber color with a billowy white head. 2 Fingers worth.
S: Sweet and slightly spicy. Not much of a nose on this.
T: The oak was noticeable on this one and it added a depth of flavor that the regular Wizard did not have. Middle Ages is very adept at Oak Aging. All that I have had have been great.
M: Med body with a slightly syrupy feel. Well carbonated for a cask ale.
D: For a winter warmer this was a fairly drinkable beer. Took my time with it and enjoyed it. If they have it again next year I will definately get it again.
