From a crowler filled Friday (5 days ago).
Moderately hazy orangey-yellow, with one finger of quickly-dissipating white head.
Smell is pineapple juice, orange, honeydew melon, mango, papaya, and a little lemon. Some grapefruit and lime from the open can, but not from the glass
Taste is grapefruit and bitter orange, mostly, with a little pineapple, white grape, and lime. As it warms, some unripe peach ( hop burn/greeness) shows up on the finish. Surprising how much the taste and aroma differ from one another.
Feel is light-medium , with fine, sharp carbonation bite, with a little bit of burn at the end. Some lingering burn at the back of the throat.
Overall, it's OK . If it tasted like it smells , I'd bump up the score a bit, ....but it doesn't, so...... ;) Fine for one glass, but that lingering hop burn means that I'll stick the rest of the crowler back in the fridge for another day, & dig out something else. (& probably have to blend it, for carbonation , & dilute that burn.) YMMV

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours an extremely hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This has a bit of hop burn to it, but luckily it's not overwhelming. There's grapefruit rind, marijuana, orange juice, and mango on the nose, too.
The hop burn is stronger on the taste. I think this would probably hit a good stride in a few weeks, but unfortunately, I'm trying it on draft now, and that burn should never be there. There's some good pineapple/mango/orange/whatever, but the bitterness is just so green.
This is light bodied, with a lingering bitterness, and a decent enough drinkability.
Prison City seems overall better than this, and I can't really say how this compares to the latest Middle Ages IPAs, as I really haven't had any of their beers in years.
