Had an imperial pint at the Blue Tusk in Syracuse. The bartender described this beer as somewhere between Wailing Wench and Wizard's Winter, I'd agree. The hops remind of the Wench as being a touch soapy, but still a tasty, smooth citrus and pine character. The malt was a pale and mild barley taste that blended into mellow fruity esters. Not too thick, and almost a little too drinkable on cask. A fine beer overall.
