I am not the man to trust, because I am not an IPA fan, but this one is on par with your average

Amber copper color with a thick beige head with good retention.
Aroma with notes of lychees (at opening), grapefruit, bread and butter, papaya and slightly toasted malts.
Flavor with notes of dank herbal and floral hops, cereals, toasted and caramel malts, grapefruit-cardboard finish, maybe some fusil alcohol, bread crust, a bit of pine and mild lychee. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to watery body with good carbonation.
Ok English IPA/Red Ale; decent if the price is right. I was thinking hard if some of the non-bothering off flavors were related to adjuncts added or whether my mind was biased. Probably the former, given I was benchmarking it to the style.
