Appearance: Clear, copper body with a thin, wispy, white head.
Smell: Altogether mild aroma smelling lightly of grainy pale malt, seasoned firewood, and only a hint of fruit.
Taste: Lightly sweet, lightly grainy pale malt flavor followed by the characteristically woody, spicy hop character of Northern Brewer hops. Like a tea made of ash tree bark peelings, really. Dull, muted citrus fruitiness. Moderate bitterness throughout. Finishes dry and crisp with a mild, lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation with a fine, crisp texture.
Drinkability: It's an adequate California Common that'll do in a pinch, but why not go for something a bit more stirring, like their Hopgasm.

Pours a dark, clear golden like dark honey with a thick beige head. Aroma is malty, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, and slightly hoppy. Flavor is more hoppy than malty with a whisper of sweetness and not too much bitter to it. Texture is crisp, tingly and sassy and has a bit of a bite.
