Clear dark amber color with few activity. Thick foamy and creamy beige 3 finger head, lasting around 15 minutes, thick legs with a great swirl response. Flavors of mangos, toffee, grapefruits, lemon, orange peels, rye and herbal hops. Silky smooth full body with a light crisp. Strong finish, tropical and citrusy, residual pine on the tongue, slightly leathery, dry and deeply leafy, almost minty and peppery. Quite a powerful IPA that feels like a double, so there's some imbalance with the flavors, a double would get more points, although I still sense a high degree of complexity here. Robust for those who like this will enjoy it much I'm sure, more like a Rye IPA. More warming than fresh, I wouldn't drink this in a hot summer day (like right now). Too bold, too coarse and tongue numbing. Compared to the regular red racer I find it less interesting and delicious, yet it's still a high quality brew, but will definitely not be a regular for me.

Serving Type: 473 mL Can poured into a Tulip Glass
L- Pours a beautiful burnt orange topped by a mammoth, slightly off-white 2 finger head. Good retention and lots of lacing.
S- Grapefruit, Pine resin, hay, with a nice caramel malt backbone.
T- Hay and pine resin on the initial taste, followed by a good dose of grapefruit. Finish is a nice, dry citrus peel bitterness.
F- Medium body with moderate-low carbonation. I typically enjoy a little more carbonation in an IPA but it seems to work well with the body here. A little bit on the heavy side to be sessionable (in my opinion) but it's still very drinkable.
O- With Red Racer IPA being my favourite IPA of all time, I had big expectations for Red Racer Super Stellar IPA; I'm happy to say that it certainly lives up to the can description. This brew is "super stellar" in every aspect: A beautiful appearance, fantastic aroma, complex flavour, and an easy drinking body.

Appearance - Pours a medium amber copper with a finger of bubbly white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and piney hops, hint of pine resin, grapefruit peel, bready caramel malts, and hint of citrus.
Taste - Hit up front with the earthy, leafy, and piney hops. The bready caramel malts, hint of pine resin, hint of citrus, and grapefruit peel help to finish things off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes with a lingering bitterness from the hops along with a pleasant stickiness.
Overall - An American IPA that displays the hops very well. Its not a blow out of the park IPA, but it stands up with the rest of the good IPA's out there.

A: Amber liquid with three fingers of white head and good carbonation.
S: Earthy, floral, grapefruit, white grapes.
T: My guess is Motueka hops. Earthy, floral, grapefruit and white grapes. Bitter citrus pith on the aftertaste.
M: Medium viscosity and carbonation.
O: This beer is great, but I find the citrus pith / saazer aftertaste to be a bit harsh. I would honestly cut this beer with a hop like pacifica to smooth it out.

Bought for 2.99$ for a 473ml can.
Pours a nice copper color with 1 and half fingers of head. Lots of carbonation.
Nice aroma, grapefruit and hops.
Lots of hops with grapefruit and tangerine. The bitterness lingers for quite some time in the back of my palate.
Crisp mouthfeel, somewhat creamy.
Overall a nice little ipa, quite similar to their red racer ipa but more mellow. For the price I'll Def buy here and there and enjoy.
