Mosaic hops lend to this light and fruity ale with a good bitterness and malt balance, coupled with refreshing hops aromatics. Red Racer India Session Ale is big on flavour, yet light in alcohol.

Look: Clear orange-straw color. Poured a finger of head with small bubbles that collapsed to a thin skiff after a minute. Left lacing on the glass as the head collapsed. Medium bubbles collected on the side of the glass which disappeared leaving only tiny bubbles rising from the bottom.
Smell: Light hop scents with a very light yeast. Swirling the glass kicked up a mild barnyard scent.
Taste: Medium bitters with some vegetable hop flavors to start. Slightly sweet. A light malt comes through in the middle which carries through the aftertaste. The bitters kick up a bit in the aftertaste.
Feel: Light tongue tickling as it foams up. Quickly turns to large bubbles.
Overall: Pretty average IPA. The hop flavor is somewhat disappointing as it tends more to a vegetable flavor than floral or fruit flavors. Not the best showing from this brewery.
