Only offered as a seasonal on site at the Surrey Central Brewing Co.
A: Gold with 1/8" white head which disappeared quickly.
S: Orange rind and apple juice.
T: Orangey, apple juice, refreshing.
M: Moderately carbonated, nice mouth feel. Very enjoyable.
Overall: Excellent beer. Would buy this to take home if B.C. liquor laws were different and allowed the brewery to can beers with this level of alcohol content.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Bronze with a white head, some retention & lace.
S: Earthy, citrus rind and steelie mineral from the hops, nice tropical fruit (mango & candied pineapple) with hints of underlying biscuity malt and hints of alcohol.
T: Earthy & steelie mineral, rind, mango, candied pineapple, surprisingly bready, light toffee, alcohol is extremely well-hidden. The hop flavour and bitterness are really nice, but a bit much for the style. I'd call it a Belgian Strong Pale ale... and a very good one.
M: Well-attenuated, moderate body is smooth, carbonation is modest for the style.
D: A good drinker.
An all around good beer that's more to my taste than most authentic tripels.
