Marilyn is a hazy, dark gold color that nears a burnt orange. The head is white and soapy, but of modest size. The aroma is clean, and fronts a bit of yeast, a little malt, and a notable perfume-like hop smell (saaz?). There's also a touch of an acid-like sourness in the smell. The sourness doesn't translate into the taste, which is nonetheless a bit dry. There's a nice malt mid-taste, some hop flavor throughout the sip. It's mostly clean, but there's a little fruit that skims in and out of the flavor. I don't think that the yeast is intentional, but it's quite good. It gives the beer a nice bread-like quality. Soft and medium to full body. The bitterness starts slowly, but eventually builds into a persistent and nice aftertaste. It's a little better than I expected.

Slightly veiled yellow color, with a white foam, quite compact, but quickly falling.
The smell is malt and hops, it seems decent in the beginning, but then it become stale and wet cardboard. Some fruity too (orange).
In the taste the fruity is more noticeable. It left an impression of uncompleteness.
Some delicate hop in the aftertaste, but in the end it is somewhat boring and heavy.
