Approximately ten minutes away from the train station, the Unser Bier (our beer) brewery is located in a calm neighborhood, next to the Paul Ullrich beer store. Their beer bar is only open on Thursday and Friday evenings. Ive seen on their website that they offer all-you-can-eat possibilities for groups (they call it something like: discovery of the brewery, but it really just is an all-you-can-drink, at a quite decent price). The interior of the bar is quite nice, creating a cozy atmosphere mixing modern and more antiquated elements of decoration. A nice long bar, and copper tanks on the side. I actually sat outside at one of the three tables on the terrasse. The view was pretty crappy (an Unser Bier truck), but it was nice to be able to sit outside in this very calm environment. They offer their beers on tap, or by the bottle when they sell out. Which is what happened with the hefe-weizen I ordered. Quite tasty, but I would have liked to have it directly from the tap. Unfortunately, I had no time that day to order something else. Service was decent, although a bit weird: I spoke German, the waitress (who I suspected to be French) answered me in English, guessing that I wasnt German, until we finally decided to speak French. The place seemed pretty crowded at 6pm, the crowd being diverse, lively and local. A nice place to hang out, even though its only open twice a week.
