On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a clear dark straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.
Smells of light malts with solid amounts of leafy and slightly grassy hops.
Tastes very similar to how it tastes. Light malt flavors kick things off and are quickly joined by solid amounts of leafy hop flavors. Midway through the sip the hop flavors turn slightly grassy and carry through to a solidly bitter and crisp ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with active carbonation.
Drinkability is very good. I had no problems finishing my glass and could easily have a few more.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this beer - a crisp version of the style with a perfect amount of hop influence. Not quite traditional (due to the large influence of the hops) but well worth a shot.

Nice head over clear golden body. The head was one of those that forms the really big bubbles that are slow to burst covered with a wet, white foam. Kind of cool actually. Straw malt, slight hops back it up. Nothing big, but the noble hop bitterness really makes this a crisp beer. Almost lager-like actually. Clean, light and easy.
