On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a crystal clear lemon-yellow color with a one-finger white head. I was told that this was the one beer the brewer tried to make cloudy but for whatever reason it didn't quite work out. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving decent lacing.
Smells of light malts with faint wheat aromas. Also present are mild amounts of light citrus.
Tastes similar to how it smells, though a bit more robust. Light malt flavors with good amounts of wheat twang kick things off, followed shortly by mild amounts of lemon rind. Midway through the sip very light hints of indistinct spices make an appearance before fading into a crisp ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I finished my glass without any problems and could have another.
Overall the biggest fault with this beer was the way it looked. Not as robust as very good examples of the style but well made and worth a shot.
