Black, with a slight brown glare. The foam is brownish, poor and run away too fast.
At the nose a distinct smell of roasted and burned in a very clear manner (maybe exaggerated). Then hints of chocolate, coffee and hazelnuts.
In the mouth hit the structure well done, always with a hint of roast and chocolate and hazelnut well present. Not so bitter, but soft and round and quite enjoyable. In the aftertaste notes of cocoa, roasted, coffee and nuts (almonds and hazelnuts). The final is still dry, so it is easy to make a second sip.
It is not so clear the style of the beer: may be a Schwartz (not a Dunkel) or even a bottom-fermented Baltic Porter (though I admit yo not know in detail the style).
