Slightly malty and amber in color; tricky to brew, easy to drink. If you're not sure what you want, you probably want this beer.

At the brewery, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: Golden amber, very small white head that left adequate lacing.
Nose: Mild, malt, bready, a bit of smoke
Mouthfeel: Nice and thick, soft and chewy, adequate carbonation.
Attack: Malty and bready, gentle, followed by peat.
Finish: Slight bitterness.
Overall: I like this beer. It’s not as strong tasting as, say, a Robert the Bruce, but is very drinkable. I’d definitely order it again.

Best Scottish ale I’ve ever had. Avoids that sticky caramel old beer syrup taste. Refreshing and super easy to drink.

Trying the Scottish Ale at the brewery. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had faint malt. The taste was malty slightly sweet and rich....with touch of peat. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a solid beer and worth a shot.
