On tap at the 2nd location:
This beer poured a pitch black color with no light even penetrating this dark mass. It formed an light tan foamy head that left latticed lace as it subsided. An aroma of malt, hops, coffee, chocolate and a touch of anise. The flavor was of malt, hops, burnt coffee and chocolate. It had a medium body with a slightly creamy texture. The finish was slightly burnt coffee yet a touch of sweetness. The alcohol level is well hidden, but with the density of the beer, you wouldn't be drinking it fast anyway.

Growler thanks to Sliffy at the Ohio International gathering. Good bubbly head on black body. Smooth and acidic simultaneously. and tasty, some time spent in a Jack Daniels barrel, and very drinkable. Fresh with good carbonation.l Medium mouthfeel-its an imperial stout not an RIS.I think we will be hearing more from this brewpub.
