On tap at the source.
A - Pitch black pour with a thin layer of caramel colored foam.
S - Toasted chocolate malt with some dark fruit mixed in. Pretty different.
T - Moderate roasted chocolate base dominates from start to finish and ends with a moderate chocolate char bitterness that lingers on the palate. Oddly enough, there’s a slight dark fruit residue that lingers underneath in the aftertaste. (Totally works, though.)
M - Big medium body with a dry finish.
O - Nice flavor on this one, I’d buy it again!

The one I ordered was just called imperial Stout so I apologize if it’s not the Russian IS. Magnificent. rich and sweet with a hint of bourbon.
