Dark wheat brews have been a rarity for me but the more I try the more I like.
Dark orange and a fairly thick beige head. Good lacing. Strong honey aroma.
The taste was good, interesting honey, some more fruit. The feel was smooth and mild. Smooth and creamy to start with a great clean finish. Refreshingly different I will have this again.

I haven't had too many dark wheat beers, and while this is a decent summer beer it's not something I would get often considering all the better brews Barley's has to offer. Pours a dark orangish-red with a thin light beige head. Very little lacing. Strong wheat aroma. Relatively light-bodied, with wheat and fruit flavors. Finish is kind of crisp, but overall I found this beer to be a little simple.

This beer was served looking very clear and dark amber, topped with a very nice white head. The head was longlasting and the beer laced in an adequate manner. The nose was mostly of a malty sense with some light fruitiness noted. The taste was quite interesting as it had quite a tart edge to it, but it also included a very musky, earthy sense that seemed a bit heavy for the style. Perhaps the fruit sense could have been increased through slightly more hopping. The feel was smooth and mild.
